Which hearing protector has the best amplification for voice?

One of the keys to getting the best sounding voice communication will be having the best NRR rating, as well as the environment you're trying to communicate in. With any hearing protection that allow face-to-face conversation, voice will still be muted if your surroundings are loud enough for the hearing protection to be cutting it out.

Peltor Tactical 6-S Sound Trap Electronic Hearing Protectors takes on a formidable task, letting you hear weak sounds while protecting you against loud noises at the same time. Tactical 6-S is a PELTOR hearing protector that listens when appropriate and also attenuates when needed. This Hearing Protection device effectively perceives and localizes weak sounds. A separate microphone, receiver, amplifier and volume control in each ear cup gives the Peltor Tactical 6-S true stereophonic reception. Assisted by an "electronic vent", the Peltor Tactical-6 Sound Trap Hearing Protector can reduce hazardous "impulse noise" from firearms to harmless levels within five milliseconds. This eliminates the risk of damaging noise reaching the ear. This Peltor Hearing Protection headphone folds down into a small, compact package for transport and storage.image
