Most Helpful Positive Review Great!
Very pleased with this purchase. I have my M400 in it. The backpack style harness helps when carrying multiple weapons to the range. It holds the firearm very snugly so there is no worry about scrapes or dings. The two compartments, with 3 mag holders each, has enough room to carry all your acce...

Most Helpful Negative Review Good as a case, not so good as a backpack
I bought the 40" model and was happy with it until I tried using the backpack straps. The buckles don't snap very securely and release when the straps are pulled apart. This means your rifle will fall to the ground. Otherwise, using the regular handles, it works fine. Pros: good price, good discr...

Really does the job!

by maxwell1485, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on October 8, 2017
Sturdy construction, good padding, and strong zipper Storage for 6 30 round magazines or a dozen smaller capacity ones. Can be carried either by handles or back pack style with the built-in harness. Looks good and works great. I will gladly recommend it to friends.
Pros:
  • Sturdy but lightweight
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • Safe transport of weapons and ammo

Nice back that doesn't look like you are carrying an AR.

by Rural PA, from PA, United States Written on June 15, 2017
Solid construction, padding, straps, etc. Only complaint is that you can't keep a 30 round mag inserted with any optics and get it zipped closed. About one more inch and it would work. Nice product for the price.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Quality
  • Style
Cons:
  • height needs to be larger

Great soft case

by Bluewoods, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on March 6, 2017
Well made and economical soft case. Really like the built in back pack straps!

It arrived prior to the estimated delivery date.

Enough room for my AK and a mounted combo scope/holo sight/laser setup.

AR-15 Bulldog Case

by willie, from KS, United States Written on September 19, 2016
Love the case. Good quality, has the little extra pockets that are a bonus. Never really thought about the ability to carry like a backpack but that is nice. Keeps your hands free to carry other things like targets and spotting scope.

Ideal for a S&W M&P 15-22

by lew, from TX, United States Written on September 1, 2016
Case fits very well and the separate outside packets hold ample magazines. The case is rectangle in shape and thus semi discreet vs a tapered case. The only draw back is the backpack straps of which I will be cutting off due to being in the way.
Pros:
  • Fits well
Cons:
  • backpack straps

Great soft sided bag

by Robt, from MO, United States Written on August 3, 2016
Great bag for the price. Holds the rifle securely and safely. Wouldn't recomend for shipping however with out boxing over. I do like the discreet shape. I chose black for this reason. Plenty of room for my mags and documentation I carry for my rifle.

Very Robust Case

by AR Hound, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on May 24, 2016
This case is heavy and thick, seems like it will hold up well. The 40" case holds My Ruger AR carbine with the butt stock fully extended and has a few inches to spare.

It will also fit with a RD or a scope attached, and a 10-20 rnd mag depending on optic height.

Remove the optics, and the case will also hold the rifle with a 30rnd Pmag/ranger plate, with just enough room left to zip up.

The outside pockets have a thick lining in them which helps protect extra mags, and whatever else they hold. 30rnd Pmags with ranger plates fit well in the 6 mag pockets.

One con is the outside pocket zippers are a little hard to manipulate, especially around the corners of the pockets.

There is a wide Velcro flap that runs along the end of the case, in order to catch the rifle should the zipper separate while carrying the case as a backpack.

The handle straps seem well sewn, and span the entire width of the case.

The backpack straps appear strong enough for at least occasional use as a backpack. It gets quite heavy with the AR, 6 loaded mags, and any extras stored.
Pros:
  • Well made, excellent value for the price.
Cons:
  • Outside pocket zippers semi hard to function.

Good for what it is

by MC, from MA, United States Written on February 10, 2016
This case is exactly what I needed. I live in a very urban, populated area where walking around with something clearly resembling a rifle case would make people uneasy. This has adequate padding, good, secure zippers as well as 3 mag pouches in each of the front pockets that will hold a total of 6 full AR 15- 30 round magazines with some room to spare. The backpack straps also make it easy to carry, especially if shooting on private property where you may have to hike back a bit. The rectangular case is very discreet and nobody has ever looked twice, especially when using it like a backpack. Will definitely get the job done, going to order another one for my AR-10.

Inexpensive AR case

by tcmark, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on November 9, 2015
Picked this up for my Mini 30 in an archangel adjustable precision stock. The 30 has a 18" barrel and there was an inch to spare. Have a 6-9" Harris bipod on it and a 3-12X42 Vortex HP with the sunshade on it. Sitting on x-tra high rings. And it all fits in the bulldog. Had to get something in order to be able to take it out of the house. This will do just fine.

Soft side gun case

by Ed, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on July 9, 2015
This is one of the best rifle cases I have ever owned. Great quality heavy duty zippers padded so rifle doesn't move around during travel has six magazine pockets inside two large zippered pockets with room for any extras you might need.
